Westher
Molteni
Lugano Tigers (LNA) tabbed 30-year old former Swiss international forward Westher Molteni (200-87). It is actually his comeback to Lugano as he has played here before. Molteni has a double citizenship as he also holds Dominican Rep. passport. Molteni has played for the last two years at Fribourg Olympic in the LNA. In 31 games he averaged 4.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.4apg last season. Molteni helped them to win the Supercup and make to league final.
He also represented Switzerland at the European Championships U20 Division B in Warsaw (Poland) ten years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 14.1ppg, 11.6rpg, 1.6spg, 1.0bpg, 2FGP: 57.1%, 3FGP: 28.6%, FT: 72.4%.
And here thanks to pro basketball Molteni experienced life on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Molteni has played previously professionally in Switzerland (Lausanne, Monthey, Massagno, SAV Vacallo and Breganzona) and Dominican Republic (CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago).

Lugano Tigers roster for 2017-2018:

Guards:
Dominique Rambo
Isaiah Williams

Forwards:
Westher Molteni
Florian Steinmann

Coach: Thibaut Petit
