Peter Ramos
La Villa (La Vega League) tabbed 31-year old Puerto Rican international center Peter Ramos (222-134kg-85). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Ramos played in the summer at Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 49 games he averaged impressive 16.0ppg, 8.2rpg and 1.8apg. Ramos helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN 2nd Team and All-Domestic Players Team. The last season he played at Jilin Tigers in Chinese CBA where in 34 games he had very remarkable stats: 19.1ppg and 10.0rpg.
In 2004 Ramos was drafted by Washington Wizards (NBA) in second round (32nd overall).
He has been also a member of Puerto Rican international program for some years.
He represented Puerto Rico at the Centrobasket in Panama City (Panama) this year. Ramos' team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 11.3ppg, 5.0rpg, FGP: 65.1%, FT: 75.0%.
Ramos is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Ramos has played previously professionally in Korea (Samsung Thunders), Philippines (Mahindra), Spain (Baloncesto Fuenlabrada), USA, Puerto Rico (Capitanes and Brujos), D-League (Roanoke D.), Dominican Republic (Metros de Santiago) and China (Fujian and Qingdao Eagles).

23-year old shooting guard Juan Miguel Suero (198-SG-93) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Indios SFM and receives a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9. He had the game-high 25 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Indios SFM as his team was edged out by Titanes Licey (#5, 5-6) 96-92. Abdoulaye N'Doye (ex Apollon) agreed terms with Metros de Santiago - 4 hours ago
Metros de Santiago (LNB) inked 28-year old Senegalese center Abdoulaye N'Doye (213-89, college: Texas A&M - Commerce). He played most recently at Apollon in Cypriot Division A, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 7 games he recorded 4.1ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.0bpg last season. Two years ago (two years after he left the college) N'Doye was drafted by Austin Spurs (D-League) in fifth round (91st overall). LNB Round 9: Indios SFM beats Leones SD by one after a very close game - 1 day ago
The most exciting game of round 9 in the LNB took place in Santo Domingo. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed Leones SD (6-5) to second ranked Indios SFM (8-3) 93-92 in the game for the second place.
