Quimsa signs Carl Elliott, ex Indios SFM - Dec 23, 2016

Carl Elliott
Asociacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero (LigaA) signed 33-year old American guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington). He played last summer at Indios de San Francisco in LNB league in Dominican Republic. The last season Elliott played at Cocodrilos in Venezuelan LPB where in 53 games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 19.5ppg and averaged 5.6rpg, 5.2apg (top 2) and 2.0spg (leader !!!). He helped them to win the league title (twice) despite they ended the regular season at the second place (twice). A very impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LPB Imported Player of the Year, named to 1st Team and named to All-Imports Team.
In 2007 Elliott was drafted by Brooklyn Kings (USBL) in second round (17th overall).
The former George Washington University standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Elliott was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LPB Player of the Year back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Elliott has played also professionally in Finland, Mexico (Fuerza Regia and Soles), Uruguay (Hebraica), D-League (Sioux Falls Skyforce) and Venezuela (Centauros de Apure).

Indios de San Francisco (LNB) inked 29-year old American center Albert Jackson (211-113kg-88, college: Georgia). He moved there from played at La Union in Argentinian TNA league where he started the season. In 12 games he recorded 10.8ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.3bpg this season. Mauricio Baez - Rafael Barias 78-66 Mauricio Baez celebrated TBS title. They edged Rafael Barias to sweep the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Mauricio Baez. Rafael Barias managed to win second period 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
