Bayo Arigbon (197-F-86, college: San Diego Chr.) A lot has happened since the last blog. Had some financial problems with my team, which in turn affected my living situation. Let me tell you it was something crazy! My teammate Marcus and I had to relocate without our things for a couple of days until they figured everything out. That experience in itself was something Id never forget. Mac book Pro, Xbox 360, and all my belongs held hostage until they were paid, I was upset but at the same time understood where people at the hotel were coming from. I felt so helpless because there was nothing I could do! It wasnt like I could say pay us or else!! Lol The only thing I could do was call on the LORD and have faith that this was just a test and things would be back to normal soon. After 2 days with the same clothes, no socks, and some dusty Jordan sandals, we were alerted that we could return to our Hotel. So after 2 days with no practice or active movement it was game time! We came out a lil sluggish, both Marcus and I played well but wasnt enough to get the win. I wrote this blog to inform everyone that when things arent going your way, or a team isnt complying with their end of the contract still act with KINDNESS and PROFESSIONALISM, no matter what!
A side from that Tomorrow is the All Star Game in Quito, and Im blessed to announce that Marcus Sikes (203-F-84, college: Cincinnati)s and I were selected as two of the Top 8 foreigners from our region. Im going to try to get some footage for yall and post that on my 4th blog but for now I posted a Highlight of the 1st Half of play here in Ecuador
