San Marcos defeated UTEC 85-64 on saturday 15, keeping back the top of the table of Clausura Tournment. Another time more, its best players were Oscar Rivera (190-F-80) and Ernesto Oglivie (199-F-89), with 32 and 24 pts, respectively. Jorge Loucel (186-F-90) and Carlos Martinez (190-F-79) led UTEC with 13 pts apiece. In Another game of the same round, Chaleco prevailed over Roll Royce, 88-76.

AD Isidro Metapan (Liga MB) inked 28-year old American center Slim Magee (211-93kg-89, college: Missouri Southern State). He played most recently at Orangeville A's in Canadian NBL. El Rapido de La Union (Liga MB) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old Cuban power forward Arlen Alorda (198-105kg-86). He played in the summer at Capitalinos in Cuban LSB league.
