UTEC and San Marcos won First Division-Clausura Semifinals with a 2-0 sweep advancuing to Final Series, but it wasn' t a so easy job.
In the second, decisive game UTEC defeated Denver, 90-83 at the end of a battled game. Julio Mancia (202-C-80) led the UTEC with 22 points, followed by David Johnson (193-F-85, college: SE Missouri St.), who scored 19. Carlos Alas (181-G-79) scored 22 pts he too in losing effort, the other Denver top scorer was Bob Hunter (193-F-76) at 15 pts.
At the other side, San Marcos prevaied over ExSal in Game 2, 94-77, and Oscar Rivera (190-F-80) was anothr time more the man of the game scoring 43 points. Carlos Arias (200-F/C-89) added 20 at the winning side, Jose Miguel Torres (184-G/F-91) led ExSal with 22 pts, followed by Guillermo Ochoa (190-F-93), who scored 10 pts
The Finals start on Thursday, Nov 15 night. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday 17.

Club de Baloncesto Cojute (Liga MB) signed 28-year old American swingman Kenny Demouchet (198-93kg-89, college: Jackson State). He played last summer at Leones in Nicaraguan LNB league. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Demouchet also played that season for Nogaleros (Chihuahua Vive) in Mexican league. AD Isidro Metapan (Liga MB) added to their roster American forward Marttavius Adams (203-116kg, college: Arkansas State). just played at La Salle-UPB Cochabamba in Bolivian Libobasquet. Adams missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Uruguay LUB Regular Season in 2013. El Rapido de La Union (Liga MB) agreed terms with 30-year old Panamanian power forward Daniel King (203-87, college: Texas Southern). It is actually his comeback to La Union as he has played here before. King just played at Caballos in Panamanian LPB league. In three games he had 5.7ppg and 3.0rpg this season.
