American Raymond Miller (204-F/C-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for Halcones and that's him to receive a Latinbasket.com Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 29 points and eighteen rebounds, while his team crushed Quezaltepeque (#4, 6-2) with 22-point margin 107-85. Halcones maintains the 8th position in Salvadorean Liga MB. Halcones is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. Miller just recently signed at Halcones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Raymond Miller averages just after three games 20.3ppg and 17.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Halcones' star - 26-year old American point guard Jeremee Davis (191-PG-90). Davis impressed basketball fans with a triple-double of 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course together with Miller he helped Halcones with another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Quezaltepeque (#4, 6-2) 107-85. Halcones' 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Davis is one of the most experienced players at Halcones and similarly like Raymond Miller has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Georgia College & State University alumni Davis played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American Danny Lawhorn (183-PG) of Arcense (#14). Lawhorn got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for seven assists. He was a key player of Arcense, leading his team to a 79-71 win against slightly higher-ranked 11 Lobos (#12, 2-6). Arcense can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-6 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Lawhorn he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Lawhorn has a very solid season. In 2 games in El Salvador he scored 39.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marc Montavious (206-C-90) of 11 Lobos - 12 points, 26 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Michael Hinestroza Javes (208-F-90) of Isidro Metapan - 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Anthony Brown (193-PG-89) of Denver-FAS - 29 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Wali Hepburn (193-G-89) of Canarios - 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Olaniyr Adedoyin) of Denver-FAS - 23 points and 22 rebounds
9. Torrez Hampton (203-C-84) of Quezaltepeque - 16 points and 21 rebounds
10. Teodoro Romero) of Arcense - 14 points, 18 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
