Round 11 most important game was a victory of Brujos Izalco over 4th placed Sonsonate 92-71 on Friday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Sonsonate. Brujos Izalco looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Christopher Blake (197-88, college: Detroit Mercy) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. His fellow American import forward Garland McArthur (197-88, college: Voorhees) contributed with 27 points (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Yoan Haiti answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for Sonsonate. Brujos Izalco have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 6-1 record behind leader Santa Tecla. Newly promoted Sonsonate dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Brujos Izalco are looking forward to face El Rapido (#10) in La Union in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sonsonate will play on the road against the league's leader Santa Tecla (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

Michael Hinestroza-Javes helped adding 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. American center Marc Montavious (206-90, college: Georgetown, KY) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 23 rebounds. Isidro Metapan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-1 record having just one point less than leader Santa Tecla. 11 Lobos lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Santa Ana. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 11 Santa Ana was beaten by Quezaltepeque on the road 108-95.
The most impressive performance of 11th round was 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by Duane James of Isidro Metapan.

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Quezaltepeque (6-2) beat at home 13th ranked Santa Ana (2-6) 108-95. Quezaltepeque shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for Quincy Scates (197-89, college: Tenn Wesleyan) who led his team to a victory scoring 50 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Torrez Hampton (203-84, college: Cumberland) helped adding 8 points and 19 rebounds. The most exciting game of round 21 in the Liga MB took place in Metapan. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 3rd placed Isidro Metapan (9-3) to first ranked Santa Tecla (13-1) 78-75 on Sunday evening. Liga MB newcomer Sonsonate BC landed 27-year old Panamanian swingman Jonathan King (198-109kg-90, college: Abil.Christian). He played recently at Caballos in Panamanian LPB league. In three games he averaged 11.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.7spg this season. Among other achievements King's team made it to the El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura Semifinals in 2016.
