Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The game with biggest difference of round 14 in Liga MB was host Cojute's (#7) victory at home over 4th ranked Quezaltepeque (6-3) 97-85 on Tuesday evening. Cojute dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Quezaltepeque's 48. They outrebounded Quezaltepeque 49-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. Cojute looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Quezaltepeque's players. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Anthony Moe (206, college: Millersville) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. Forward Scott Sill (206-92, college: Delaware St.) chipped in 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Cojute's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quincy Scates (197-89, college: Tenn Wesleyan) produced 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Cojute have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 4-4 record, which they share with Canarios. Quezaltepeque at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Halcones. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Joseph Antoine contributed with 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Puerto Rican forward Luis-Damian Morales (191-88) replied with 27 points and 9 rebounds for Denver-FAS. Denver-FAS's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory 11 Lobos went down to eleventh position due to points difference. Denver-FAS at the other side dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 14 Sonsonate was defeated by Isidro Metapan in a road game 65-60.
The best stats of 14th round was 6 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks by Michael Hinestroza-Javes of Isidro Metapan.

Isidro Metapan - Sonsonate 65-60

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Sonsonate (5-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked Isidro Metapan (7-2) 65-60. Spanish-American forward Duane James (196-83, college: Binghamton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 7 rebounds. Venezuelan-Colombian forward Michael Hinestroza-Javes (208-90, college: UALR) contributed with 6 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. James is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Panamanian forward Manuel Gudino (195-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Yoan Haiti added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sonsonate. Isidro Metapan maintains third position with 7-2 record behind leader Santa Tecla. Sonsonate lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Isidro Metapan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sonsonate will play at home against Giants (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
