Davis
26-year old point guard Jeremee Davis (191-PG-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Halcones and receives a Latinbasket.com Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 34 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Halcones in his team's victory, helping them to crush 11 Lobos (#11, 4-7) with 22-point margin 109-87. Halcones maintains the 4th position in Salvadorean Liga MB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Halcones will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 78.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Halcones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Georgia College & State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in assists (8th best: 5.8apg) and averages solid 51.0% FGP. Worth to mention Davis played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Danny Lawhorn (183-PG) of Arcense. He is American guard in his first season at Arcense. In the last game Lawhorn recorded impressive 37 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. It was enough for Arcense to edge the higher-ranked Sonsonate (#9, 6-6) by 3 points 80-77. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Arcense keeps 14th position. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Arcense managed to get this year. Lawhorn is one of the most experienced players at Arcense and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.1ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 4.9rpg and 7.1apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Anthony Moe (206-F/C) of Cojute (#8). Moe got into 30-points club by scoring 44 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was a key player of Cojute, leading his team to a 116-93 easy win against the lower-ranked Santa Ana (#13, 2-10). Cojute needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Moe has a very solid season. In 8 games in El Salvador he scored 25.9ppg. He also has 12.9rpg, 2.4bpg and FGP: 54.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Christopher Blake (197-G-88) of Brujos Izalco - 40 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Tobias Dowdell (201-F-90) of Santa Ana - 31 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Marc Montavious (206-C-90) of 11 Lobos - 16 points and 21 rebounds
7. Brandon Golden (193-G) of Cojute - 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists
8. Garland McArthur (197-F-88) of Brujos Izalco - 15 points and 20 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
