FINAL Brazil - Canada 71-72 OT Canada are the FIBA Americas champions. They snatched a thrilling overtime victory over Brazil to capture the trophy. Alyssa Jerome (185-C) stepped up with 17 points and 12 rebounds to pace Canada. She was named the MVP after the Final. Canada grabbed a 29:23 halftime advantage. SEMIFINALS Canada - Mexico 70-42 Canada cruised past Mexico to reach the championship game. Alyssa Jerome (185-C) posted 16 points and 16 rebounds to lead the North American team.
