FINAL USA - Canada 109-62 The USA defended their title in Valdivia. They coasted past Canada in the championship game. The USA dominated from start to finish in this one. They grabbed a 23:20 lead after ten minutes. The USA sank 28 points in the second term to take a 17-point halftime lead. They stayed aggressive offensively in the second half. SEMIFINALS Canada - Brazil 58-52 Canada will play for the title in Valdivia. They held off Brazil in the semifinal clash. Alyssa Jerome (185-C-99) provided 16 points and 12 rebounds to pace the winners. Brazil got to the better start. The Latin American team accumulated a 30:22 halftime lead.
