FINAL Canada - Cuba 82-66 Canada claimed the FIBA Americas Championship crown. They outgunned Cuba in Edmonton for the first Gold since 1995. Kia Nurse (183-G-96) scored 20 points to pace the hosts. She was named the MVP after the game. Cuba jumped to a 22:19 lead after the opening quarter. But Canada responded with a 25:13 run in the second term to take a 9-point halftime lead.
