Rawle Marshall (ex Arak) agreed terms with Huracanes del Atlantico - Aug 26, 2016

Huracanes del Atlantico (LNB) inked experienced 34-year old Guyanese small forward Rawle Marshall (201-83kg-82, college: Oakland). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Marshall played most recently at Shahrdary Arak in Iranian Superleague. In 8 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.4spg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Honorable Mention.
Part of last summer Marshall spent at Champville in Pepsi LBL where in three games he averaged remarkable 16.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.3apg and 2.3spg. Marshall also spent pre-season at Al Riyadi (Pepsi LBL) in Lebanese league that year.
In 2005 he was drafted by Michigan Mayhem (CBA) in fourth round (27th overall).
Marshall attended Oakland University and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he won Kazakhstan League championship title for two years in a row (2012 and 2013). Marshall received also Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League 1st Team award back in 2008.
He represented Guyana at the CBC Championships in Tortola (Virgin Islands) two years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: Score-3 (19.2ppg), 4.8rpg, Assists-4 (5.4apg), 1.4spg, FGP: 35.9%, 3PT: 46.4%, FT: 65.9%.
Marshall is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Marshall has played previously professionally in Croatia (Cibona), France (ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket), Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki and Koroivos), Puerto Rico (Santeros), Romania (Ploiesti), Russia (Lokomotiv), Spain (Valencia Basket), Serbia (Vrsac) and Kazakhstan (Astana).

An Akini Wilson layup in the dying moments propelled Amelia's Ward Jets to the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) U23 title, edging Kwakwani 70-68 in the final on Saturday.
