San Antonio Spurs (NBA) cut 23-year old French-Guyanese power forward Livio Jean-Charles (202-93, agency: BeoBasket).
The last season Jean-Charles played at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in French ProA where in 36 games he averaged 6.4ppg and 4.7rpg. He helped them to win the French ProA title (twice) and they also made it to the Cup final (twice). Jean-Charles played 8 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.6apg.
Three years ago he was drafted by the Spurs in first round (28th overall).
Among other achievements Jean-Charles received Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Newcomer of the Year award back in 2013.
He represented France at the European Championships U20 in Tallinn (Estonia) three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: Score-5 (17.3ppg), 6.3rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg, 1.0bpg, FGP-3 (69.2%), 3PT: 16.7%, FT: 70.6%.
Jean-Charles has played previously for CFBB.

Universitarios add George to their roster - 2 months ago
Universitarios (LPB) added to their roster 32-year old American (has also Guyanese passport) power forward Travis George (206-111kg-85, agency: Haylett Sports). He moved there from Rotterdam Challengers in Dutch Eredivisie, but was not approved after all. The last summer George played at Adroit in Thailand TBL where in 18 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 19.3rpg (leader !!!) and 2.3bpg.
