n an official statement to local media, Jose Francisco Lopez, head coach of Icevic, told thta his team doesn' accept the decision of the LSB Council, because not any mistake occurred in the registration of Karim Smith. Lopez added that his team will not play Game 1 again, because they won that game without any rule violation on and off the court. Luis Abel Bejarano, President of LSB league, asked for a comment, answered that Game 1 and Game 2 between Icevic and Nacional de Ingenieros are yet fixed for tomorrow and wednesday, and if Icevic won' t came at the arena, it will lose the games by forfeit. BTW, Mr. Bejarano is also an official of National de Ingenieros club.....

Adrian Bejarano stepped up with 24 points for the home side. Guatemala and Honduras traded baskets throughout the opening quarter. The teams were tied at 14 after ten minutes. Honduras pulled ahead in the second frame. They registered a 31:25 halftime advantage. The hosts broke free in the third term. They went on a 21:7 run to take a comfortable 52:32 lead at the third break. Guatemala never recovered as Honduras breezed to the victory in the fourth frame. Edgardo Garcia notched 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for Honduras. Erick Mejia answered with 9 points for Guatemala. Christian Diaz chipped in 8 points in the loss.
