Virgin Islands- Jamaica 64:80

Jamaica improved to 2-0 record in Group B at 2012 Centrobasket. The team overcame Virgin Islands 80:64 in Day 2 for a perfect record.
Both teams nailed 16 points each in the first period. Virgin Islands dominated the second quarter and grabbed 3-point lead at the halftime due to 18-15 in it. In the third period Jamaica erupted with 28-13 surge and took the lead for good. They added 21-17 in the last stanza to taste the second straight victory.
Akeem Scott (186-PG-83, agency: Interperformances, college: High Point) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Samardo Samuels (206-F/C-89, college: Louisville) nailed 20.
