Ryan Reid
Jamaican Ryan Reid (203-F-86, college: Florida St.) moves to Chorale Roanne for the upcoming season. The National team player moves to Europe.
He has a Jamaican passport and represented the Caribbean island in the 2011 CBC Championship where he averaged 9.2 points and 10 rebounds.
He started his pro career in 2006-2007 for Florida St. (NCAA) and debuted with 2.9ppg, 3.2rpg. In his last season he improved to 6.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.1apg, FGP: 49.1%, FT: 59.7%.
In 2010-2011 joined Intermache Zastal Zielona Gora (Poland-PLK), but in Nov.'10 moved to Tulsa 66ers (D-League) and in 51 games had 8.4ppg, 5.8rpg, FGP: 49.7%, FT: 75.3%. In 2011-2012 for Tulsa 66ers (D-League, starting five) he showed 12.2ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.2apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 51.4%, FT: 70.5%. Ryan Reid also appeared in NBA and for Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) played 5 games averaging 1.6ppg.
Last season he received USBasket.com All-D-League Honorable Mention -12 and Gatorade All-D-League Honorable Mention -12.

JDF continue march through Southern basketball league - May 6, 2016

The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) continued to surprise in the Southern Basketball Conference (SBC) League, scoring their fourth straight win after beating former champions Majesty Gardens, 83-70, on Monday at the Tony Spaulding Complex. Ramyi Franklyn produced 16 points and 10 rebounds with good support from Dermaine Foster, 13 points. Bayamon adds Scott to their roster - May 5, 2016

Vaqueros de Bayamon (BSN) added to their roster 26-year old Jamaican ex-international swingman Durand Scott (196-92kg-90, college: Miami, FL). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Scott moved there from Enel Brindisi in Italian Serie A where he started the season. In 26 games he recorded 13.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg this season. The last season he played at Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Winner League) in Israel. In 31 games he averaged impressive 15.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg.    [read more]
