Summerside Storm (NBL Canada) tabbed 23-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) forward Omari Johnson (205-104kg-89, college: Oregon State). He played recently at Canton Charge (D-League) in the U.S.. The last season Johnson played at Oshawa Power. In 36 NBL Canada games last year he averaged impressive 17.5ppg, 8.6rpg (#5 in the league), 1.9apg, 1.4spg and 1.6bpg.
This summer (a year after he left the college) Johnson was drafted by Canton Charge (D-League) in fifth round (74th overall).
The former Oregon State star is in his second season in pro basketball. He received USBasket.com All-NBL Canada 2nd Team award in 2012.

He played last summer at Broncos in Venezuelan LNB league. He helped them to win the LNB title (twice) (also twice). Palma Air Europa de Palma de Mallorca (LEB Gold) released 26-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) guard Khalid Mutakabbir (193-86kg-91, college: Presbyterian, agency: Duran International). In 6 LEB Gold games he had 5.5ppg and 3.2rpg this season. Mutakabbir played there last season where in 8 LEB Gold games he recorded 8.6ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.0spg.
