Jordan
Divina Seguros Juventut Badalona (Liga Endesa) inked 30-year old Jamaica center Jerome Jordan (215-113kg-86, college: Tulsa) from Betis Energia Plus Sevilla. In 14 Liga Endesa games in Spain he recorded 8.2ppg and 3.9rpg last season. Jordan also played that season for Jiangsu Tongxi in Chinese CBA where in 19 games he averaged impressive 21.2ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.5apg, 1.0spg and 1.9bpg. He also spent pre-season at the Pelicans in NBA that year.
In 2010 Jordan was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (44th overall). He attended University of Tulsa and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Jordan played in the final of Drew League in 2014. He received also USBasket.com All-D-League 3rd Team award back in 2013.
Jordan represented Jamaica at the Centrobasket in San Juan (Puerto Rico) four years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 10.7ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0apg, Blocks-2 (1.8bpg), FGP: 52.4%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 73.9%.
Jordan is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Jordan has played previously professionally in Italy (Virtus Bologna), Philippines (Talk N Text), Serbia, Slovenia (Krka), NBA (Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies) and D-League (Los Angeles D-Fenders, Erie Bay Hawks and Reno Bighorns).
His game is described as: (by Aran Smith for NBADraft.net in 2010)
Has an ideal NBA center frame with tremendous dimensions including a huge (7-foot-6) wingspan on a 7-plus foot frame ... Players his size don't often have his agility. Solid in the open floor and has some leaping ability ... Shows nice touch for a bigman.
Does not appear to enjoy contact and lacks the tough demeanor that you want in a post player ... Lack of body strength becomes apparent when he meets contact
