Here is the weekly review of the top performing Jamaican players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international center Kimani Ffriend (211-77, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Serbia). He led Dynamic BG to a 1-point victory against the sixth-ranked Vrsac (10-6) 77-76 in the Serbian KLS in Friday night's game. Ffriend had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 32 minutes on the court. Dynamic BG Beograd (12-3) is placed second in the KLS. Ffriend has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.8bpg, 2FGP: 65.0%(26-40) and FT: 72.0% in four games he played so far. Ffriend played for the Jamaican senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL, currently plays in Italy). Scott was the major contributor in a 1-point Enel Brindisi's victory against the closely-ranked The Flexx PT (8-9) 86-85 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Enel Basket Brindisi (8-9) is placed 12th in the Serie A. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. This season Scott has very high stats. He averages: 16.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.6apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 30.6% and FT: 71.2%. Scott is a naturalized American. He played for the Jamaican national team in 2013.

   #3. The Jamaican player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, currently plays in Spain). Jordan contributed to an Joventut's surprising victory against the seventh-ranked Andorra (10-8) 74-59 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Divina Seguros Juventut Badalona (5-13) is placed 15th in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Jordan has relatively good stats this season: 10.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 2FGP: 68.3%(43-63) and FT: 79.5%. He played for the Jamaican national team three years ago.

   #4. Center Roy Hibbert (218-86, college: Georgetown, currently plays in NBA). Hibbert could not help the Charlotte Hornets (24-26) to beat the Sacramento Kings (19-30). He recorded 6 points in only 12 minutes. The Charlotte Hornets (24-26) were edged 109-106 on the road by the Kings. It was Hornets' sixth consecutive loss in a row. It's Hibbert's first season with the team. This year Hibbert's overall stats are: 5.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.1bpg in 42 games. He is a naturalized American. Hibbert used to play for the Jamaican national team back in 2010.

Former international guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, currently plays college basketball in the States) led Oregon to a victory against the University of Utah (1-1) 73-67 in the NCAA in Thursday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. The University of Oregon has 5-0 conference record this season. So far his team won all five games in the conference. This year Ennis has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.2apg and 1.2spg in 22 games. He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Jamaican. Ennis used to play for the Jamaican national team three years ago.

Power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St., currently plays in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the second-ranked Fukushima (20-12) crushing them 88-65 in the Japanese B League D2 last Sunday. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group West. Shimane Susanoo Magic (25-6) is placed third. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Reid's total stats this season are: 8.4ppg and 6.1rpg. He is a naturalized American. Reid is a former international player as he played for the Jamaican senior team six years ago.

   #7. Former international power forward Adrian Forbes (211-88, agency: Haylett Sports, college: Auburn, currently plays in Japan) was not able to help Kagawa FA (10-22) in their last game. Despite his good performance the fifth-placed Kagawa FA (10-22) were badly defeated 84-64 on the opponent's court by the leading Gunma in the West group. Forbes had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 26 minutes. It was Kagawa FA's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Forbes' total stats are: 5.6ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.2bpg in 32 games. He used to play for the Jamaican national team three years ago.

   #1. Sek Henry (193-G-87, college: Nebraska, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup) could not help Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-4) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Gravelines-Dunkerque (2-4) was defeated 87-77 on the road by the leading Demir IBB in the group L of FIBA Europe Cup. Henry was the top scorer with 17 points. He also added 4 rebounds. The Second Stage already ended in the FIBA Europe Cup. It's Henry's first season with the team. Henry has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized American.

   #2. Justin Rutty (200-F-89, agency: HMS, college: Quinnipiac, currently plays in Uruguay) was the major contributor in a 1-point Union Atletica's victory against the leader Goes (7-1) 81-80 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB on Tuesday night. Rutty had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 12 rebounds in 37 minutes. Union Atletica Montevideo (4-4) is placed fourth in Promocional 2 group. It's Rutty's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Rutty averages: 19.0ppg, 9.9rpg and 1.8apg in eight games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.

   #3. Jevohn Shepherd (196-G/F-86, college: Michigan, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) led his Belgian team Spirou Charleroi to a victory against the eighth-ranked Szolnok (2-12) 92-87 in the Basketball Champions League last Wednesday. Shepherd scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. Proximus Spirou Charleroi (6-8) is placed sixth in group E. The Regular Season already ended in the Basketball Champions League. It's Shepherd's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 13.6ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.2apg in 12 games. Shepherd has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Jamaican.

   #4. Omari Johnson (206-F-89, college: Oregon St., currently plays in Lithuania) managed to help Neptunas Klaipeda to win against the closely-ranked Vytautas (10-11) 72-60 in the Lithuanian LKL on Saturday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Neptunas Klaipeda (11-10) is placed fourth in the LKL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Johnson's overall stats this season are: 7.4ppg and 4.8rpg. He is a naturalized American.

   #5. Experienced Torin Francis (210-C-83, college: Notre Dame, currently plays in Argentina) led La Union to a victory over the sixth-ranked Argentino (14-15) 72-65 in the Argentinian LigaA in Sunday night's game. Francis was MVP of the game. He scored 17 points in 27 minutes. La Union Formosa (5-16) is placed sixth in Norte group. Francis has relatively good stats this year: 13.3ppg and 8.0rpg in 28 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #6. McHugh Mattis (198-F-84, college: S.Florida, currently plays in Mexico) was not able to help Abejas (9-23) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Mattis' very good performance Abejas was defeated 84-74 in Nuevo Laredo by the higher-ranked Toros (#3). He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Mattis also added 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Mattis has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3bpg. He is a naturalized American.

   #7. Sherman Gay (201-F/C-82, college: Loyola Mary, currently plays in Finland) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Tampereen Pyrinto crushing them 92-72 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. Gay scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 30 minutes. Gay has very impressive stats this year: 20.2ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.0bpg and 1.2spg in 25 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #8. Phil Henry (203-PF-91, agency: Global Sports Plaza, college: E.New Mexico, currently plays in Slovakia) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Nova Ves (4-24) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Nova Ves was badly defeated 90-71 in Bratislava by the higher-ranked Karlovka (#9). Henry recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists. This season Henry has very high stats. He averages: 16.0ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.1apg. Henry is a naturalized American.

   #9. Jermaine Anderson (188-PG-83, college: Fordham, currently plays in ABA League) couldn't help Mornar Bar in their game against Crvena Zvezda in the ABA League. Anderson scored only 4 points. His team was defeated 82-71. Anderson has averaged so far 3.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.0apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Canadian and Jamaican.

   #10. Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (201-F-91, college: Lamar, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in a CB Granada's victory against the 14th-ranked Gandia 89-82 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) last Saturday. De Lattibeaudiere was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 25 minutes. De Lattibeaudiere has reliable stats this year: 12.3ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3bpg in 19 games.

Crvena Zvezda MTS Beograd (KLS) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Jamaican international point guard Dylan Ennis (187-87kg-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) from Mega Bemax. In 10 KLS games in Serbia he recorded very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.4apg and 2.2spg this season. He just graduated from University of Oregon and it is his first season as a pro. He played most recently at KK Dynamic BG Beograd in Serbian KLS league. In 26 games he averaged 14.0ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3bpg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
