Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Jamaicans who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international center Kimani Ffriend (211-77, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Serbia). He led Dynamic BG to a victory against Beovuk 72 99-93 in a derby game in the Serbian KLS in Wednesday night's game. Ffriend scored 19 points, grabbed 6 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 3 shots in 26 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Dynamic BG Beogradis placed fourth in the KLS. It's Ffriend's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Ffriend averages: 15.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.7apg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 57.6%(76-132) and FT: 69.7% in 15 games he played so far. He played for the Jamaican senior national team five years ago.

Jerome Jordan

   #2. Second place goes to former international center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, currently plays in Spain). Jordan could not help Joventut (9-19) in their last game. Despite his good performance Joventut was edged 71-69 on the road by the lower-ranked (#15) Zaragoza. Jordan was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Jordan has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 5.6rpg, 2FGP: 61.5%(83-135) and FT: 76.8% in 22 games. He played for the Jamaican national team in 2014.

   #3. The Jamaican player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St., currently plays in Japan). Reid contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Kagoshima (7-47) crushing them 98-68 in the Japanese B League D2 on Saturday night. He recorded 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Shimane Susanoo Magic (44-10) is placed first in West group. Reid's overall stats this season are: 8.4ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 51.0%, 3FGP: 21.6% and FT: 71.1%. He is a naturalized American. Reid played for the Jamaican national team six years ago.

   #4. Power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a Enel Brindisi's surprising victory against the league leader Armani Milano (21-6) 70-68 in the Italian Serie A in Saturday night's game. He scored 9 points in 25 minutes. Enel Basket Brindisi (13-14) is placed ninth in the Serie A. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Samuels' overall stats are: 8.5ppg and 4.5rpg in four games. He used to play for the Jamaican national team back in 2014.

Former international swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Samardo Samuels and both played together in the last Italian Serie A game. Scott managed to help Enel Basket Brindisi in a victory against the league leader Armani Milano (21-6) 70-68. He scored only 4 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes. This year Scott has relatively solid stats: 15.0ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg in 26 games. He is a naturalized American. Scott used to play for the Jamaican national team four years ago.

   #6. Power forward Adrian Forbes (211-88, agency: Haylett Sports, college: Auburn, currently plays in Japan) helped Kagawa FA win their game against the third-ranked Kumamoto Vorters (40-14) 68-65 in the Japanese B League D2 on Saturday night. Forbes recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 21 minutes. Kagawa Five Arrows (17-37) are placed fifth in West group. This year Forbes' total stats are: 5.9ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.2bpg in 54 games. He is a former international player as he played for the Jamaican senior team three years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Jamaican passport but never been selected to any of Jamaican national teams:

   #1. Experienced Torin Francis (210-C-83, college: Notre Dame, currently plays in Argentina) could not help La Union (9-27) in their last game on Monday. Despite Francis' good performance the seventh-placed La Union (9-27) was defeated 73-69 on the road by the leading Ferrocarril in the Norte group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 17 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Francis has relatively good stats this season: 14.5ppg and 8.7rpg. He is a naturalized American.

   #2. Jermaine Bucknor (201-F-83, college: Richmond, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Gladiators (13-7) in their last game on Monday. Despite Bucknor's very good performance Gladiators was defeated 75-67 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Chemnitz (#3). He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Bucknor also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Bucknor's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.0apg. He has a dual citizenship: Jamaican and Canadian.

   #3. Sek Henry (193-G-87, college: Nebraska, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Gravelines-Dunkerque (15-13) in their game against Sluc Nancy (7-21) in the French ProA. Henry recorded 8 points in 26 minutes. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost 72-83 in Nancy to the league outsider (#18) Sluc. This year Henry has relatively solid stats: 12.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg in 21 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.

   #4. Ryan Martin (206-F-91, college: Tenn Tech, currently plays in France) couldn't help STB Le Havre (12-9) in their last game on Friday. Despite Martin's good performance STB Le Havre was defeated 81-75 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Poitiers (#7). He recorded 11 points. Martin's total stats this season are: 5.1ppg and 4.0rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Jamaican and British. Despite Martin's Jamaican nationality, he previously played for the British U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Jamaican team.

   #5. Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-PG-91, currently plays in Portugal) led Galitos-Barreiro to a victory against the seventh-ranked Vitoria SC (10-10) 81-69 in the Portuguese LPB in Friday night's game. He recorded 14 points. Galitos-Barreiro (16-13) is placed fifth in Places 1-6 group. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. Ogungbemi-Jackson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 17.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.5apg and 1.2spg. Ogungbemi-Jackson has both Canadian and Jamaican nationalities. Despite his Jamaican passport, Ogungbemi-Jackson previously played for the Canadian university national team and probably cannot be called to the Jamaican team.

   #6. Khalid Mutakabbir (193-G-91, agency: Duran International, college: Presbyterian, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Zornotza's victory against the tenth-ranked Alcazar 87-82 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) last Sunday. He scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. Mutakabbir has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.8apg and 1.8spg in eight games. He is a naturalized American.

   #7. Dane Johnson (208-C-86, college: Hofstra, currently plays in Venezuela) couldn't help Toros in their game against Marinos in the Venezuelan LPB. Johnson scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was defeated 113-108. Johnson's total stats this season are: 7.0ppg and 3.5rpg. He is a naturalized American.

   #8. T.J. Sapp (190-G-92, also represented by Duran International, college: Murray St., currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a 1-point Boulazac Basket's victory against the 15th-ranked Aix-Maurienne 83-82 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. Sapp recorded 12 points in a mere 15 minutes. This year Sapp's total stats are: 9.5ppg, 2.1rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg in 21 games. He is a naturalized American.

   #9. Aaron Redpath (193-G-92, agency: Interperformances, college: McMaster, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Zamorano's victory against the closely-ranked Navarra 72-62 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) last Sunday. Redpath scored 20 points and had 3 steals. Redpath's total stats this season are: 6.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.8apg. He also holds two passports: Canadian and Jamaican.

   #10. Junior Cadougan (187-G-90, college: Marquette, currently plays in NBLCanada) contributed to a London Lightning's victory against the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans 99-91 in the NBL Canada in Wednesday night's game. Cadougan recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Cadougan has averaged so far 5.9ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.2bpg. He has dual citizenship: Jamaican and Canadian.
