Arecibo - Guaros 85-92
Guaros toppled Arecibo for the second straight victory in Group D. Zach Graham (198-G-89, college: Mississippi, agency: Pro Sports) nailed 23 points to lead the Venezuelan team. Arecibo stayed in front throughout the first half. The Puerto Rican team piled up a 47:40 halftime lead. But Guaros turned the tables in the third term. They fired 32 points in the period and pulled ahead. They protected the lead throughout the fourth quarter and marched to the win. Damien Wilkins (198-G-80, college: Georgia, agency: Priority Sports) netted 19 points in the victory. Guillermo Diaz (188-G-85, college: Miami, FL) responded with 24 points for Arecibo.

Capitalinos - Brasilia 60-99
Brasilia fired past Capitalinos to improve at 1-1 record in Group D. Lucas Cipolini (206-PF-86, college: BYU-Hawaii) and Arthur Silva (196-SF-82) posted 17 points each to pace the Brazilian team. Brasilia dominated in the first half. They recorded a 26:13 lead ten minutes into the game. They extended the margin at 27-point mark at the interval. Capitalinos stopped the rot in the third term but Brasilia erupted for 32 points in the fourth frame to seal the victory. Jefferson Campos (191-PG-91) provided 16 points in the win. Joan Luis Haiti (200-C-82, agency: Pro Sports) responded with 16 points and 14 rebounds for Capitalinos.

FINAL San Lorenzo - Mogi 79-71 San Lorenzo celebrated Liga Americas title. They beat Mogi das Cruzes in the championship game. It looked good early as Mogi took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then San Lorenzo had a 20-13 second period charge getting the lead and Mogi was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-79. San Lorenzo and Mogi das Cruzes will clash for Liga Americas title in Buenos Aires tonight. They claimed victories in the respective semifinals on Saturday. San Lorenzo cruised past Estudiantes Concordia 101:78. Gabriel Deck (199-F-95) stepped up with 30 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. San Lorenzo built a 42:34 halftime lead.
