Liga Americas defending champions Bauru stayed in the hunt for the title defense. They knocked down Quimsa in the decisive battle in Group E and secured their semifinal stage appearance. Ricardo Fischer (185-PG-91) stepped up with 26 points and 7 assists to lead the winners. The Brazilian team eked out a 34:31 halftime lead. They drained 39 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Rafael Hettsheimer (206-C-86) delivered 18 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Nicolas Romano (200-F-87) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds for Quimsa.

Mogi - Malvin 77-57
Mogi das Cruzes secured their Liga Americas semifinal stage birth. They knocked down Malvin to improve at 2-1 record in Group E. Shamell Stallworth (195-SG-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) provided 17 points to lead the winners. Mogi led by just a single point at halftime 31:30. They stretched the margin in the third term taking a 7-point lead. Mogi followed with a 24:11 run in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Larry Taylor (185-PG-80, college: Missouri Western) provided 15 points in the victory. Samuel Hoskin (206-F/C-79, college: De Paul, agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 14 points for Malvin.
