Guaros de Lara will play in the Liga Americas Final. They held off Mogi das Cruzes in the semifinal clash in Barquisimeto. Tyshawn Taylor (191-G-90, college: Kansas) and Damien Wilkins (198-G-80, college: Georgia, agency: Priority Sports) fired 28 points each to lead the Venezuelan team. Mogi and Guaros were knotted up at 17 ten minutes into the game. The Brazilian side spurred ahead for a 38:34 halftime advantage. Guaros erased the deficit in the third term. The Venezuelan team surged in front to take a 2-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. They drained 26 points in the final stanza and sealed the winning outcome. Shamell Stallworth (195-SG-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) nailed 31 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Mogi das Cruzes. Lucas Mariano (208-C/F-93) chipped in 11 points in the defeat.

Flamengo - Bauru 81-83
Bauru withheld a tough challenge from their Brazilian rivals Flamengo to advance into Liga Americas Final. Robert Day (198-SF-82, college: W.Oregon) posted 17 points and 3 rebounds to lead the winners. It was a close battle from start to finish. The teams were tied at 24 after the opening frame. Flamengo jumped to a 6-point halftime advantage. They extended the gap at 11-point mark at the final intermission. But Bauru went on a 13:3 rally in the fourth frame to deny the deficit. They protected the lead in the dying seconds of the game and eked out a narrow victory. Alex Garcia (191-G-80, agency: Interperformances) finished with 16 points, while Ricardo Fischer (185-PG-91) added 15 points and 7 assists for the winners. Olivinha Rodriguez (203-F-83) and Jerome Meyinsse (206-C-88, college: Virginia, agency: Stealth Sport) replied with 15 points each for Flamengo.
