Jamario Moon
Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old American forward Jamario Moon (203-98kg-80, college: Meridian CC, agency: Interperformances). It is actually his comeback to Fuerza Regia as he has played here before. Moon played in the summer at Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rican BSN league, but left the team in April. In 14 games he recorded 10.4ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.5apg, 1.4spg and 1.8bpg. The last season Moon played at Al Wasl (D1) in UAE league.
Among other achievements his team made it to the Greek Cup Final Four in 2014. Moon received also NBA All-Rookie 2nd Team award back in 2008.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Moon's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in six different countries. Moon has played previously professionally in Venezuela (Guaros), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Clippers and Charlotte Hornets), Greece (Olympiacos), IBL (Gary S.), CBA (Albany P.) and D-League (Los Angeles D-Fenders).
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Fuerza Regia.
Moon attended Meridian CC until 2000 and it will be his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
