Argentina - Brazil 71-80
Brazil recorded the first victory in San Juan. They held off their archrivals Argentina for 1-2 record. Joao Paulo Batista (205-C/F-81, college: Gonzaga, agency: AAI Sports) posted 15 points to pace the winners. Brazil eked out a 20:19 lead after the opening frame. They stretched the gap in the second frame. Brazil accumulated 37:34 halftime advantage. They knocked down 26 points in the third frame to secure a 9-point lead at the final break. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth frame to race to the win. Giovannoni provided 13 points, while Vitor Benite had 12 points in the victory. Luis Scola (206-F/C-80, agency: AAI Sports) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for Argentina. Gabriel Deck (199-F-95, agency: Agency) netted 10 points in the loss.

Canada - Dominican Republic 86-74
Canada recorded the third consecutive victory at the 2015 Marchand Cup. They rallied past Dominican Republic for 3-0 record. Brady Heslip (188-SG-90, college: Baylor, agency: Athlete Management Group) posted 14 points to lead the winners. Canada eked out a 21:19 lead after the opening frame. The North American team unloaded 27 points in the second term to gain a comfortable 17-point halftime advantage. Dominican Republic pulled within 9 points at the final intermission. Canada tossed in 24 points in the fourth quarter and got away with another victory. Anthony Bennett (203-F-93, college: UNLV, agency: Excel Sports Mngm), Scrubb and Ejim scored 12 points each for the winners. Eloy Vargas (211-C-88, college: Kentucky, agency: You First) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds for Dominican Republic. Luis Flores (188-G-81, college: Manhattan, agency: Duran International) had 11 points in the loss.
