Ana Karen Bernal Armendariz was the leading player in victory with double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Narda Valeria Salceda Jimenez had 14 pts, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, while Nohemi Lopez Arguello also helped Mexico with 14 points. In defeat, Cheisy Carolay Hernandez top-scored with 17 pts. The previous (10-11) season Silva played at Herner TC (2.Bundesliga) in German league. In 12 games that season she averaged 6.2ppg and 1.0rpg.

Silva has played previously professionally in Portugal (Barcelos) and Nigeria (First Bank). She attended Oklahoma State until 2007 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player.
