Mexican All-Stars - Import All-Stars 101:108

LNBP All-Star Game was held in Tampico. The Import All-Stars clinched an exciting victory at the end. Rodney Alexander (201-F-87, college: Oklahoma City) knocked down 19 points to lead the effort. LeRoy Hickerson (196-G-82, college: Cumberlands) added 17 points and was named All-Star Game MVP.
Imports selection started strong. They jumped to a 32:26 lead after the opening quarter. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame. Imports enjoyed a 63:54 halftime lead. They kept the Mexican selection at distance throughout the third quarter. The Import All-Stars entered the final period up by 12 points 85:73. Mexican players narrowed the gap midway through the final stanza but Imports stepped on the gas in the final moments and sealed the winning outcome. Jason Horton (188-G-86, college: Missouri) and Eugene Phelps (198-F, college: Long Beach St.) netted 16 points each for the winners. Lorenzo Mata (205-C-86) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Mexican All-Stars. Noe Alonzo (200-F-83, college: Grand Canyon) had 15 points in the loss.

The most exciting game of round 19 in the LNBP took place in Nuevo Laredo. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Abejas (8-9) to seventh ranked Toros (7-10) 91-88 on Monday evening. Nick Harney (ex Pozzuoli) signs at Mineros - 15 hours ago
LNBP newcomer Mineros de Zacatecas landed 25-year old American forward Nick Harney (203-98kg-92, college: Fairmont State). He played most recently at Societa Consortile Virtus Pozzuoli in Italian Serie C. In 22 games he averaged impressive 18.7ppg last season. The previous (2016) summer Harney played at Panteras (ACB) in Nicaraguan league. Among other achievements he played in the final of MEC Tournament in 2015. Santos de San Luis Potosi (LNBP) tabbed 31-year old American guard Gabe Pruitt (193-84kg-86, college: USC). The last time (14) he played at Panionios in Greek A2 league.
