Fuerza Regia adds West to their roster, ex La Villa - Jan 4, 2013

Mario West
Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) added to their roster 29-year old American guard Mario West (195-98kg-84, college: Georgia Tech). West managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He played last summer at La Villa in La Vega League in Dominican Republic. He also played at Caneros in Dominican Rep. LNB that season. The other team West played that season for was Meralco Bolts in Filipino PBA. In 11 games he recorded very impressive stats: 30.1ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.7apg, 2.5spg and 1.1bpg. Another team he played that season for was Tezenis in Italian Lega2. In 28 games last season he averaged 13.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.4apg and 3.1spg (leader !!!). A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected Eurobasket.com All-Italian Lega2 Defensive Player of the Year.
The previous (2011) summer West played at Cocolos in LNB. Another team he played shortly were Brooklyn Nets (previous name New Jersey Nets) in NBA. In 6 games that year he averaged 3.7ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg.
West has played previously professionally in Italy (Tezenis Verona) and D-League (Maine Red Claws).
He attended Georgia Tech until 2007 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.

The most important game in the last round took place in Tijuana between third ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (10-6) and sixth ranked Lobos UAD Mazatlan (8-9) on Tuesday night. Davis is back at Guasave - 20 hours ago
Frayles de Guasave (CIBACOPA) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old American forward Leroy Davis (200-102kg-81, college: Georgia State). It is actually his comeback to Frayles de Guasave as he has played here before. Davis He just played at Barreteros in the LNBP. In 27 games he had 8.0ppg and 3.7rpg this season. Nick Murphy (ex Al Gharafa) agreed terms with Los Mochis - 20 hours ago
Pioneros de Los Mochis (CIBACOPA) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American guard Nick Murphy (193-98kg-88, college: Jacksonville State). He played recently at Al Gharafa in Qatari D1 league. In 2011 Murphy was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League) in fourth round (7th overall).
