We bring you last week's top performances from Mexicans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Gustavo Ayon
Gustavo Ayon
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Gustavo Ayon (209-85, college: San Jose St., currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Orlando Magic (12-20) to beat the Washington Wizards (4-26). Ayon recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 35 minutes on the court. The Orlando Magic lost 97-105 on the road to the Wizards. It was Magic's seventh consecutive loss in a row. It's Ayon's first season with the team. This year he averages: 3.7ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 52.4% and FT: 57.6% in the 29 games he played so far. Ayon is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team.

Romel Beck
Romel Beck
#2. Second place goes to an international swingman Romel Beck (201-82, agency: Interperformances, college: UNLV, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli Winner League. He was not able to help Bnei Hasharon (4-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Beck's very good performance Bnei Hasharon was crushed 113-85 in Tel-Aviv by the leading Maccabi T-A. He was the top scorer with 32 points. Beck is currently first on the list of top scorers. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Beck averages: 19.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 63.5%(61-96), 3FGP: 28.3% and FT: 83.7%. He is a naturalized American. Beck is in the roster of the Mexican senior national team. He used to play for Correcaminos Victoria in Mexican league.

Earl Watson
Earl Watson
#3. The Mexican player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international point guard Earl Watson (185-79, agency: Priority Sports, college: UCLA, currently plays in NBA). Watson managed to help Utah Jazz in a victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (15-14) crushing them 106-84 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He scored only 2 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 9 assists in 24 minutes. The Utah Jazz has 16-17 record this season. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. This year Watson's overall stats are: 1.9ppg, 1.7rpg, 4.2apg, 2FGP: 30.6%, 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 66.7% in the 18 games. He is a naturalized American.
