The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 42-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 30 personal fouls committed by Huracanes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Jamaican forward McHugh Mattis (198-84, college: S.Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks.
