Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Mexicans who are currently playing abroad.

Paul Stoll
Paul Stoll
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Paul Stoll (180-85, currently plays in Israel). He was the major contributor in a Maccabi Haifa's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Eilat (9-5) 96-87 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. Stoll scored 20 points and added 8 passes (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 38 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Maccabi Bazan Haifa (9-5) is placed third in the Winner League. It's Stoll's first season with the team. Stoll belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4 with 4.6apg. He also averaged so far 15.6ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 45.5% and FT: 86.1% in the 14 games he played so far. Stoll is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team. Stoll used to play for Algodoneros de La Comarca - Torreon in Mexican league.

Romel Beck
Romel Beck
#2. Second place goes to an international swingman Romel Beck (201-82, agency: Interperformances, college: UNLV, currently plays in Israel), who plays in the Israeli Winner League. He could not help Bnei Hasharon (6-8) in their last game on Monday. Despite Beck's very good performance Bnei Hasharon was defeated 86-76 at home by the leading Maccabi Ashdod. He was the top scorer with 21 points. Beck also added 5 rebounds. Beck is ranked second on the list of the top scorers in the league. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Beck averages: 19.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 63.7%(79-124), 3FGP: 30.3% and FT: 78.7%. He is a naturalized American. Beck is in the roster of the Mexican senior national team. He used to play for Correcaminos Victoria in Mexican league.

Gustavo Ayon
Gustavo Ayon
#3. The Mexican player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Gustavo Ayon (209-85, college: San Jose St., currently plays in NBA). Ayon was not able to help the Orlando Magic (14-28) in their game against the Detroit Pistons (16-26) in the NBA. He scored 8 points in only 10 minutes. The Orlando Magic lost 90-105 on the road to the Pistons. It was Magic's fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Ayon's overall stats are: 3.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 54.9% and FT: 57.6% in the 31 games. He is also a member of the Mexican senior national team.

Earl Watson
Earl Watson
#4. An experienced point guard Earl Watson (185-79, college: UCLA, currently plays in NBA) managed to help Utah Jazz to win against the Washington Wizards (9-31) 92-88 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Watson scored only 4 points and added 3 passes. The Utah Jazz has 23-19 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Watson's total stats this season are: 2.0ppg, 1.5rpg and 4.2apg. He is a naturalized American. Watson used to play for the Mexican national team back in 2007. Strangely he has never played in Mexico.

The list of other players, who all have Mexican passport but never been selected to any of Mexican national teams:

#1. Mark Sanchez (201-F-87, agency: Court Side, college: Boise St., currently plays in Austria) led Kapfenberg Bulls to a victory over the closely-ranked BC Vienna (4-7) 78-73 in the Austrian A Bundesliga last Thursday. Sanchez was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 35 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. ECE Bulls Kapfenberg (13-4) is placed third in the A Bundesliga. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Sanchez belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #3 with 7.8rpg. This year he also averages: 14.9ppg and 2.0apg in the 17 games he played so far. Sanchez is a naturalized American. He used to play for Lobos Grises de la UAD Durango in Mexican league.

#2. Diego Gonzalez (175-PG-84, currently plays in Uruguay), who plays in the Uruguayan LUB could not help Aguada to beat Bigua (1-1). Gonzalez scored 6 points and added 3 passes. The first-placed Aguada was defeated 106-94 on the road by the lower-ranked Bigua (#5) in the Serie 1. Gonzalez's total stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 3.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.2spg. He has a dual citizenship: Mexican and Uruguayan.

#3. Jaime Serna (205-F-89, college: UCSB, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help CB Clavijo (6-9) in their game against Melilla Baloncesto (4-11) in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Serna cannot count it as his best performance. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 13 minutes. CB Clavijo was crushed 91-70 on the opponent's court by the league outsider (#14) Melilla_Baloncesto. This year Serna's total stats are: 4.5ppg and 4.1rpg in the 14 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Mexican and Spanish.
