Jamar Brown
Osos de Guadalajara (LNBP) inked 33-year old American power forward Jamar Brown (206-109kg-80, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo). He supposed to help them in their Liga Americas campaign. He supposed to play at Al Manama in Bahrain Premier League. Brown also spent pre-season at Springfield Armor in D-League earlier this season. Last year he also played for the Armor (5.4ppg and 4.5rpg).
Brown is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Atenas), Canada, Japan (Toyama Grouses), New Zealand, Philippines (Meralco Bolts), Spain (Fontedoso Carrefour), Turkey (Antalya) and D-League (Frisco Texas Legends).
Brown attended Colorado State-Pueblo until 2003 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: A rapidly improving PF, who runs the court like a guard, has an athletic body, quick hands and good ball handling. Knows how to score, even from mid-range, and is a good shot-blocker. Could become top league material soon.

Libertad Asuncion (Metropolitan League) added to their roster 26-year old American center Leon Gibson (206-111kg-91, college: Houston). He moved there from Zonkeys de Tijuana in Mexican CIBACOPA where he started the season. In 21 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 9.2rpg and 1.6apg this season. This season Gibson played at Ciudad (LNBP) in Mexican league. In three CIBACOPA games he averaged 13.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.0apg. 29-year old forward Michael Glover (203-F-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Obregon and receives a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 31. He had a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Tijuana (#3, 15-13) 106-93. The game was between two of the league's top four teams.
