Inman is back at GIE Maile Matrix, ex Agua Prieta - Apr 2, 2017

GIE Maile Matrix signed 30-year old forward Jonathan Inman (196-102kg-87, college: Alabama A&M). It is actually his comeback to GIE Maile Matrix as he has played here before. Inman played last summer at Vaqueros de Agua Prieta in Mexican CIBACOPA. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In three CIBACOPA games he had 12.7ppg and 3.0rpg. Inman also spent pre-season at Pioneros Los Mochis (also in CIBACOPA) that year where in two games he recorded 12.5ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.0apg.

Inman played at the SWAC Tournament Semifinals in 2008.

He is quite experienced player. Inman has played also professionally in Argentina (Espanola de San Luis), Chile (CD Puerto Varas), China, Uruguay (Atenas and C.Atletico Universitario Salto) and Dominican Republic (Santa Ana).

He attended University of Alabama A&M until 2013 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.

American Forward Eugene Phelps (198-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Soles, receiving a Interperformances LNBP Player of the Week award for round 30. The 27-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Fuerza Regia (#4, 18-11) 73-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. The game between Top Four teams took place in Monterrey. 4th ranked host Fuerza Regia (18-11) lost to second ranked Soles (19-9) 73-62. 26 personal fouls committed by Fuerza Regia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
