Garzas - Soles 92-100

Soles outgunned Garzas to take 3-1 lead in the series. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 33-23. But Garzas won second period 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Soles shot 61.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Soles looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Naturalized American guard Luke Martinez (193-90, college: Wyoming, agency: Pro Sports) fired 27 points and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St.) chipped in 26 points. Naturalized American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) produced 29 points and international center Israel Gutierrez (206-93) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Garzas players scored in double figures.

Toros - Fuerza Regia 76-87

Fuerza Regia rallied past Toros for the third straight win in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Toros took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fuerza Regia had a 27-14 second period charge getting the lead and Toros were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-87. Fuerza Regia made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Fuerza Regia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Toros were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian center Jeleel Akindele (216-83, college: Chicago St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. International forward Juan Anderson (198-93, college: Marquette) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Naturalized American forward Quentin Gonzalez (200-84, college: McNeese St.) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Roberto Nelson (190-91, college: Oregon St.) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Toros.

JAIME LLOREDA Panamanian Center Jaime Lloreda (204-C-80) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Mineros, receiving a Interperformances LNBP Player of the Week award for round 38.
