Fuerza Regia - Soles 66-49

Fuerza Regia bounced back from the starting loss in the title series and rallied past Soles de Mexicali to even the series at 1-1. The game was mostly controlled by Fuerza Regia. Soles managed to win fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fuerza Regia dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Soles' 18. They outrebounded Soles 41-27 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Andy Panko (203-77, college: Lebanon Valley, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 4 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Puerto Rican point guard Filiberto Rivera (189-82, college: UTEP) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
