Forte
American Forward Cameron Forte (201-F-93) had a great game in the last round for Los Mochis, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 43 points and 17 rebounds, while his team Los Mochis maintains the 10th position in Mexican CIBACOPA. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 7 games and recorded just one victory. Forte just recently signed at Los Mochis, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Portland State University star has very solid stats this year. Forte is in league's top in points (3rd best: 25.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.1rpg) and averages impressive 66.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Mychal Ammons (198-F-92) of Navolato. Ammons had a very good evening with a double-double of 32 points and 20 rebounds. Of course Navolato cruised to a 92-80 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Guaymas (#7, 4-4). This victory allowed Navolato to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Ammons is one of the most experienced players at Navolato and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.4ppg (#2). He also registered 12.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Leon Gibson (206-C-91) of league's top team Tijuana. Gibson scored 25 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Tijuana, leading his team to a 84-78 win against the lower-ranked Los Mochis (#10, 1-7). Tijuana confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Gibson has a great season in Mexico. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.2rpg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Benjamin Puckett (205-C-83) of Culiacan - 19 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Michael Glover (203-F-87) of Obregon - 23 points and 12 rebounds
6. Cliff Tucker (198-F/G-89) of Mazatlan - 33 points and 7 rebounds
7. Sammy Yeager (193-F-89) of Guasave - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists
8. Dwayne Mitchell (196-G/F-82) of Navolato - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists
9. Rashad Woods (197-G/F-86) of Guaymas - 31 points and 6 rebounds
10. Grandy Glaze (204-F) of Culiacan - 20 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
