Danilo Pinnock (196-G-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: George Washington) once again shined in victory collecting 19 points and 8 rebounds. Jose Lloreda (201-F-80, college: LSU) and Ernesto Oglivie (199-F-88) added 12 points each. In the loosing squad, Noel Antonio Makence drained 24 points. Troy Watson (197-F/C-82) was behind him with 13 pts. Nicaragua opened the game better. After ten minutes Troy Watson and his teammates had 7-point lead, 25-18. That was a real shock for Panama, whose players immediately woke up. They drained 24 more points until the half time, limiting their rivals on 10. So the score was 35-42 for Panama after 20 minutes. Third period was the crucial one in this meeting. It was another nice 10 minutes for Panama, who scored 25 points. On the other side, Nicaragua stopped on 11 and question about the winner was already resolved. In the last period Panama extended its lead even more.

Nicaragua remains winless in Hato Rey of Centrobasket 2012. The team lost the fourth straight game at the tournament and finished last in Group B.

Bahamas opened the game with 36:16 and was better in the second frame with 24:18. Moreover in the second half the favorites continued to dominate the court and won the third and the last stanzas. Mitchell Johnson (196-F-85, college: Jarvis Christian) exploded with 43 points to lead the winners and Kadeem Coleby (205-F/C-89) posted 14.
