Tigres de la Universidad de Managua and Tiburones Bancentro are very near to advance to the ACB Finals. In the first Semifinal Series, top seeded Tiburones won two times on the road, 101-88 and 86-80, over Delfines, and then won Game 3 again 101-88. Their 3-0 aggregate makes to think to a final sweep of the series. At the other side, Tigres defeated Jaguares they too in the first two games, 88-76 and 72-68, then largely won Game 3, 99-66, but felt to Jaguares 71-64 the day after. The aggregate is now 3-1 for Tigres, and tonight they could keep the decisive win in Game 5 of the Semifinal.

Nicaragua remains winless in Hato Rey of Centrobasket 2012. The team lost the fourth straight game at the tournament and finished last in Group B.
Panama overcame Nicaragua 93:60 in Day 4 of the Qualifying Round. Panama took 21:20 after the first period and added massive 31-30 in the second frame. Bahamas opened the game with 36:16 and was better in the second frame with 24:18. Moreover in the second half the favorites continued to dominate the court and won the third and the last stanzas. Mitchell Johnson (196-F-85, college: Jarvis Christian) exploded with 43 points to lead the winners and Kadeem Coleby (205-F/C-89) posted 14.
