Host team Pamana grabbed the silver medal thanks to a 71-67 win over Costa RIca, in which Jair Peralta (178-G-76, college: Tennessee-Martin) scored 17 and Joel Munoz (179-G-80) 14. The best in Costa Rica, winner of bronze medal, were Jaffry Spencer (190-F-80) with 18 and Kay Martinez (201-G-84, college: Jackson St.) with 13.

Nicaragua remains winless in Hato Rey of Centrobasket 2012. The team lost the fourth straight game at the tournament and finished last in Group B.

Bahamas opened the game with 36:16 and was better in the second frame with 24:18. Moreover in the second half the favorites continued to dominate the court and won the third and the last stanzas. Mitchell Johnson (196-F-85, college: Jarvis Christian) exploded with 43 points to lead the winners and Kadeem Coleby (205-F/C-89) posted 14.
