Costa Caribe and Sinsa won the Semifinal openers in Liga Premier. Sinsa posted a 105-95 win over Toros Multiagro as Alvin Camacho (191-G/F-78) top-scored for the winners with 22 points. MacKenzie netted 20 and Gonzales added 19. Serbio Abea (191-F-78) replied with 29 points and 10 rebounds in a loss.
Costa Caribe meanwhile beat Leones 79-67. Smith stepped up with 18 points, while Dalton Cacho added 16 points and 16 rebounds. Ponce answered with 19 points in defeat.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Real Esteli (6-4) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Costa Caribe (5-6) 92-83. Costa Caribe outrebounded Real Esteli 40-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. 31 personal fouls committed by Real Esteli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. 25-year old guard Jared Ruiz (188-G-92) had a great game in the last round for Toros and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9. He had the game-high 33 points adding nine rebounds and seven assists for Toros in his team's victory, helping them to beat Jinotega (#2, 6-4) 98-88. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-best Jinotega (6-4) to second ranked Real Esteli (6-3) 92-90 in the game for the first place.
