Qatar Sports Club Doha (D1) landed 26-year old American forward Quinton Doggett (206-100kg-90, college: Southern). He played in the summer at Sebaco in Nicaragua LNB league. Doggett managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He also played that season for Montevideo BC in Uruguayan Ascenso where in 21 games he averaged impressive 23.0ppg, 14.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2bpg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguayan Ascenso League 2nd Team.
Two years ago (two years after he left the college) Doggett was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in second round (36th overall).
The former Southern University standoutis in his fifth season in pro basketball.
Doggett is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Doggett has played previously professionally in Denmark (Naestved), Portugal (Galitos-Barreiro), Ukraine (Dynamo), D-League (Salt Lake City Stars), Peru (Inmaculada) and NEBA (Atlanta Live).

Costa Rican Marcos Castrillo (201-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Toros and that's him to receive a Latinbasket.com LNB Player of the Week award for round 8. There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LNB. Second ranked Toros faced 4th ranked Costa Caribe. Host Toros (5-3) defeated guests from (2-6) 94-77. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 58-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Toros had a 31-18 advantage in offensive rebounds.
