Anneth Him-Lazarenko (178-F) makes it to First All Star team in Canada. Recently a native of Panama City scored 13 points as top-seeded McGill escaped with a surprisingly hard-fought 63-56 victory in a women's basketball semifinal at Love Competition Hall.

Last year she was Quebec League Regular Season Champion -11, Quebec League Semifinals -11, All-Quebec League Player of the Year -11 and CIS All-Canadian 1st Team -11. In her top game this season Mc Gill University beat Laval 69:64. Laval trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 21-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-69 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Laval 40-28 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Panamanian forward Anneth Him-Lazarenko who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds.
