Correcaminos de Colon won their first 92-72 over the San Pedro Tigersharks in the Liga Centroamericana. The game was closed the first 5 minutes, but after that the outside shooting from Ryan Abrahams (191-SG-81, college: Hawaii-Hilo) and Antonio Bumpus (190-G-89, college: Cumberlands) heated up was all over for the young Belize team.

Correcaminos de Colon dominated the rebounds and the interior game with Joan Haiti and Ernesto Oglivie (203-F-89) taken advantage of the size and height. The Panamanian team won the first three quarters to get ahead by 32 points. The fourth quarter was the best for San Pedro Tigersharks but no enough to cut the double digit margin.

The best from Correcaminos de Colon:

Ryan Abrahams 14 points, 4/5 from 3 point and 5/6 from the field
Ernesto Oglivie 14 points 5 rebounds
Antonio Bumpus 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals

by San Pedro Tigersharks:

Ashley Edwards (180-F-86) 19 points 1 rebound
Raoul Roches 15 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists

Michael Hicks selected the top Panamanian playing abroad in last week's games - 4 hours ago
We bring you last week's top performances from Panamanians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an experienced international forward Michael Hicks (196-76). He could not help Hebraica (1-3) in their last game. Despite Hicks' very good performance the eighth-placed Hebraica (1-3) lost 88-98 in a derby game to the higher-ranked (#6) Nacional in the Places 1-8 group.    [read more]

SCOTT RODGERS Gimnasia-Indalo Esgr.Comodoro Rivadavia (LigaA) inked 30-year old American shooting guard Scott Rodgers (191-87, college: Drexel). He played recently at Correcaminos in Panamanian LPB league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was selected to All-Panamanian LPB 2nd Team and League Player of the Week. Rodgers also played for Halcones (also in LPB) earlier that season where in 10 games he averaged impressive 20....   [read more]

Antonio Bumpus inks with Bueyes de Guaymate - 8 days ago
High scoring shooting guard Antonio Bumpus (192-SG-89, college: Cumberlands) inks with Bueyes de Guaymate in the Romana League in Dominican Republic. He can provide offense in many ways, shooting form beyond the arc, slashing and going one on one, good rebounder guard, great defense and a lot of athleticism. He had killed the Panamanian league two years in a row with Toros del Chiriqui David, he posted 24 point per game in 2016 and 20.2 ppg 39% from the 3 point land, 49% from the fiel...   [read more]
