Another win for Correcaminos de Colon their fourth in four tries this time against Banco Atlantida of Honduras in a complicated first half. The Hondurian team came ready to play even been eliminated already with record of 0-3 played their best game losing 87-74 with Panamanian team.

The first quarter finished with a tie 16-16, in the second quarter Correcaminos de Colon pulled with 7 point lead at the half by the same amount of points. The third quarter was won by Banco Atlantida by 3 to cut the lead to 4 going in to the last quarter. In the fourth quarter the most experience team pull away winning the quarter by 8 and securing the fourth win for the Panamanian team.

Antonio Bumpus (190-G-89, college: Cumberlands) was crucial in the last quarter hitting a couple of jumpers and a three point play at the end. Correcaminos de Colon will play on sunday with Santa Tecla BC who are also unbeaten in four games for the Liga Centroamericana Championship and the pass to the Liga de las Americas.

Naturalized American Bradley Turner (183-PG-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Universitarios and that's him to receive a Usbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. The 28-year old playmaker had the game-high 32 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Universitarios in his team's victory, helping them to beat Toros (1-2) 105-92. The most exciting game of round 3 in the LPB took place in Colon. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of Correcaminos (1-2) to Panteras (3-0) 55-54 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was British V.Islands center Lester Prosper (208-88, college: Old Westbury, agency: Interperformances) who scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Former international Point guard Daniel Munoz (175-PG-84) put on an amazing game in the last round for Toros, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. The 33-year old player was the main contributor (38 points, four rebounds and nine assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Correcaminos (1-1) 93-91.
