Seven footer Jordan Henriquez-Roberts (214-F-89, college: Kansas St.) inked with Correcaminos de Colon for the Liga de las Americas tournament, he will playing in Group A and will start on the 20th of January in Mexicali, Mexico with La Union Formosa from Argentina, Atletico Aguada from Uruguay and local Soles de Mexicali from Mexico.

Correcaminos de Colon adavanced last year to the second round after beating Aguilas de Tunja from Colombia and Gimnasia-Indalo Esgr.Comodoro Rivadavia from Argentina as the big upset of the first round. They lost all three games in the next round.

Jordan has played in the D-League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after he was realesed by the Houston Rockets, then moved to Science City Jena in Germany, Yokohama B-Corsairs in Japan and his last team was Estudiantes in Argentina. He will be presence in the paint with good scoring, rebounding and a rim protector with his blocking ability.

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Panamanian players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is an experienced international center Jaime Lloreda (204-80). He could not help Hebraica (10-4) in their last game. Despite Lloreda's very good performance the first-placed Hebraica (10-4) lost 84-88 on the road to the lower-ranked (#3) Aguada in the Promocional 1 group.    [read more]

He had an averaged of 20.5 ppg 14.0 rpg 1.5 apg 2.0 bpg. He wins his first player of the week this year.
