Correcaminos de Colon - Atletico Aguada 92-96
Atletico Aguada claimed the second victory in Group A. They rallied past Correcaminos de Colon for 2-1 record. Demian Alvarez (192-F-84) scored 29 points to lead the Uruguayan team. Correcaminos de Colon posted a 26:22 lead ten minutes into the game. But Atletico Aguada stormed ahead for a 48:41 halftime lead. Correcaminos de Colon unloaded 51 points in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Gonzalo Iglesias (201-C-93) tossed in 16 points in the win. Alexander Galindo (200-PF-85, college: FIU) responded with 20 points for Correcaminos de Colon.

Penarol inks Alphonso Leary, ex Correcaminos - 19 days ago
Penarol Quillacollo (Libobasquet) agreed terms with 26-year old American center Alphonso Leary (208-93kg-91, college: Virginia State). He played last summer at Correcaminos in Panamanian LPB league, but left the team in August. But in three games he had just 1.3ppg and 1.0rpg. The last season Leary played at Real Canoe in Spanish EBA where in 9 games he recorded 8.1ppg and 6.0rpg.
