Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce beat Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue 98-80 in a very interesting game where the Panamanians took a seventeen points advantage at the end of the first period and never looked back with their big man pounded in the paint the smaller team Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue.

Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue made a 14 to 4 run at the beginning of the third period that brought them within 10 points, but after a Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce timeout they reacted and finished strong the third period with a 14 point difference going in to the fourth.

The fourth quarter was the same with Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce pounding the paint with three pointers from passes from their big man. Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue tried to comeback but their three pointer were not effective.

The best from Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce:
Ricardo Melendez (179-SG-83) 23pts 6reb 3ast 5-10 from 3pt
Javier Carter (203-C-91, college: S.Alabama) 17pts 5reb 3ast
CJ Rodriguez (188-PG, college: S.Nazarene) 13pts 7ast 3-3 from 3pt

From Colegio Los Leones de Quilpue;
DeAndre Coleman (201-PF-86, college: S.Alabama, agency: DTMones) 18pts 5reb 1ast
Evandro Arteaga (178-PG-83) 15pts 5reb 5ast 5-15 from 3pt

Jaime Lloreda's double-double lands him Player of the Week award among Panamanians playing currently abroad: - 14 days ago
Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Panamanians who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an experienced international center Jaime Lloreda (204-80). He could not help Hebraica (1-2) in their last game. Despite Lloreda's very good performance the first-placed Hebraica (1-2) was badly defeated 100-84 on the road by the lower-ranked (#4) San Lorenzo in the group F of Liga Americas.    [read more]
