Here is the weekly review of the top performing Panamanian players, who play currently abroad.

Michael Hicks
Michael Hicks
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international forward Michael Hicks (196-76, college: Texas A&M-CC, currently plays in Uruguay). He was the major contributor in Hebraica's victory against the second-ranked Aguada (7-4) 87-83 in the Uruguayan LUB in Friday night's game. Hicks scored 18 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 23 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Promocional 1. Hebraica Macabi Montevideo (6-3) is placed third. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. Hicks has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.6apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 46.6%, 3FGP: 42.2% and FT: 80.2% in 20 games he played so far. Ex-Toros del Chiriqui David player is currently a member of the Panamanian senior national team.

Jaime Lloreda
Jaime Lloreda

Second place goes to an international center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU, currently plays in Uruguay) is a teammate of previously mentioned Michael Hicks and both played together in the last Uruguayan LUB game. Lloreda led Hebraica to a victory against the second-ranked Aguada (7-4) 87-83. He scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Lloreda has relatively good stats this season: 12.1ppg, 10.5rpg, 2FGP: 65.1%(69-106) and FT: 53.4%. Ex-Magnates de Calidonia player is in the roster of the Panamanian senior national team.

Jamaal Levy
Jamaal Levy

He could not help Weber Bahia (20-13) to beat Quilmes MP (15-19). Levy recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. The third-placed Weber Bahia (20-13) lost 68-75 on the road to the lower-ranked (#7) Quilmes MP in the Sur group. This year Levy's overall stats are: 7.1ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 61.6%(69-112), 3FGP: 29.7% and FT: 59.5% in 32 games. He is also a member of the Panamanian senior national team.

Josimar Ayarza
#4. Forward Josimar Ayarza (205-87, college: S.Mississippi, currently plays in Argentina) was not able to help Echague (6-29) in their last game on Friday. Despite Ayarza's very good performance Echague (#10) was defeated 85-74 at home by the leading San Lorenzo in the Norte group. He was the top scorer with 18 points. Ayarza also added 5 rebounds (made all of his five free throws). It's Ayarza's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Ayarza averages: 15.1ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg. He is also Panamanian national team player.

Geno Luzcando
Geno Luzcando

International guard Geno Luzcando (190-95, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the Idaho St. (3-9) in their game against the University of Northern Colorado (11-2) in the NCAA. He scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. The Idaho St. lost 81-87 in Greeley to the University of Northern Colorado. There are only four games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Luzcando's total stats are: 10.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.1spg in 26 games. He plays currently for the Panamanian national team.

The list of other players, who all have Panamanian passport but never been selected to any of Panamanian national teams:
